Date Posted:05/24/2021 4:17 PMCopy HTML Got my HP laptop fixed by calling HP Support. The rep told me I needed to install McAfee because Windows Defenders wasn't good for Malware & Spyware. He said it cost $150 a yr which I can't afford right now. What do u guys think? ***Donna***

Re:Security Date Posted:05/25/2021 12:44 PMCopy HTML Many support using the free editions of these two programs: https://www.superantispyware.com/download.html https://www.malwarebytes.com/mwb-download/ I would try these first before paying for protection. I feel more like I do now than I did a while ago...

Re:Security Date Posted:06/20/2021 1:17 PMCopy HTML Yes. After your 14-day Premium trial, Malwarebytes will revert to its free version that offers virus scans but has no real-time protection. With the free version you lose real-time protection after 14 days, that means you need to manually run scans at least once a week, or more often if you're visiting any risky websites. https://www.superantispyware.com/free-edition.html Go to that link and see what the free version does vs the paid version. You have to manually update and run the free version. And make sure you have the free version installed. I feel more like I do now than I did a while ago...
