Date Posted:01/08/2018 10:03 PMCopy HTML Apple has released iOS 11.2.2 for all iPhone and iPad versions running iOS 11. Apple says that the update contains security fixes, and although they aren’t specified, it’s been confirmed that the new released patches devices to protect against the massive Spectre security flaw that was recently uncovered. The update is being pushed out over-the-air, which means that anyone running the most current iOS 11.2.1 version should be able to go download and install the update right now. http://start.att.net/news/read/category/news/article/bgr-apple_releases_ios_1122_update_to_address_spectre-rpenskemc I feel more like I do now than I did a while ago...

I inherited and I think I got rid of it that **** Siri stuff when I updated to High Sierra I'd rather take my chances then get some more stuff I don't want to have to think about or try to get help to fix. |

Apple said last week that no users had been affected by these vulnerabilities, which were present in all Macs, iPhones and iPads. The fixes to iOS, MacOS and the Safari browser require users to update their systems. On Macs, the update is for OS X El Capitan and macOS Sierra, and for iPhone and iPad, iOS11. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-apple-cyber/apple-to-issue-fix-for-iphones-macs-at-risk-from-spectre-chip-flaw-idUSKBN1EU04F
