Google has disclosed details of an open-source bug in the GNU C Library affecting a large number of Linux distributions, software and devices.
I feel more like I do now than I did a while ago...

This is worse than the last glibc bug... the impact is potentially severe across both the server and workstation install bases. The patch should be hitting the repositories of all the major distributions in short order, and should also be on Github and Subversion.
