When I turned on my laptop this morning, it made a deep buzz sound, made me  jump. Should I worry?

See if other odd things happen and does that buzz noise now occur every time you turn it on.


Windows will make certain sounds when it has an "alert" and puts a small icon in the bottom-right of the page close to your date/time display.  Just monitor your system for the next few days to see if you can identify what's happening.


I feel more like I do now than I did a while ago...

It hasn't happened again, just once & didn't have a chance to look at bottom/right screen. PC's been running great since that 1 time.
