Yesterday's patch Tuesday updates took so long to complete that I began to think it had somehow crashed, it stayed in the cycle of "updating, don't turn your computer off" for about an hour.  I came close to turning my computer off, but after a very long time it completed the update correctly.

I just wanted to alert you to the time it takes for the large number of fixes it installs so you don't need to worry about it taking so long.

WOW!  Your system must have been several updates behind.  Of course there are other things that could slow your updates, such as the speed of your internet connection, or the Windows update server was slower because many others were doing the same updates as you were, or if you were using your computer for other things while the update was in process.  (sometimes I play solitaire while waiting for my computer to complete an operation ☺☺☺).

Anyway, glad your system did finally complete those updates.
