I have Windows 10 & Google Chrome. Microsoft Edge keeps popping up to install it. Do I have to? I love my Chrome.

Let it install, then open Google. Go to settings, scroll down to default browser (make google my default browser), click on make default. If that doesn't work, we'll try something else. It worked on Firefox. It will install sooner or later whether you want it to or not. I used it one time to install Firefox and then used Firefox to install Google. I haven't used Edge since. Didn't like it. I use Firefox most of the time.

Did some more research. Open windows settings, in the search box, type choose a default web browser. in the web browser box, type Google chrome. also do the above.

A simple thanks or it didn't work would have been nice but, oh well, it may have helped someone. Sometimes we never know.

I read it because that's why I pulled away from Windows altogether. It's THEIR MACHINE you know. You cannot stall it or ignore it. Why I now have Apple.

She might have corona, etc. but, I still check in every now and again for old times sake. LOL

I haven't done anything, won't until I have to. But I do love Windows 10.
